I want to purchase a triangle battery and also use my totem victor battery as a second battery but it will not reach the second battery fron the rack. Can I purchase a 2 foot extension cord (male to female) for a totem victor battery?

I've got a old Trek I converted to a mid drive. There are increased risks with the conversion. I have all the safety features on it. Brake shut off, shift cut out. The extra weight does make it a little harder to control on jumps. Really there are some safety issues with products on the market for conversion. The drive sprockets often have cut outs that you can get toes and fingers in. I specifically looked for sprockets without the cut outs. There are some things they can make safer without limiting the technology. The one thing I am considering is some sort of angle/fall shut off, I haven't come up with a solution that will not accidently trigger on a jump or steep bank turn. I over estimated my ability to climb a hill and flipped backwards-- the ebike didn't cause the flip I probably would of done the same on the analog bike. However by the time I came to a stop the bikes rear tire was on my leg and the pedal moved kicking on the drive wheel for a moment. Really my only injury was the burn from the tire doing a burn out on my leg. (now the secret is its a 1000W/52v battery, but I also weigh 200lbs so I agree with you power should not be limited, if they want to limit it do it by speed not power so big people and little people can go the same speed) I for one think let the trails set speed limits and let the riders follow the speed limit. I think bikes should be allowed to have modes. If I can set my bike to meet Class 1 parameters, or Class 2, 3. Then I should be able to operate where only class 1 is allowed if I set it to class 1. I don't want to own 5 bikes for different areas. My mountain bike will cover almost all categories and I will limit it to the trail requirements, I will respect the trail rules. I often use it to ride with my teen son, I let him set the pace on his analog bike on the trail.

With a watt meter built in to most displays you can also see how much watts on average a human pulls on an ebike I was able to get 1200 ish watts reduced from pedaling from a draw of 1800 ish so when they say that 250 watts is the average professional cyclist they are hyper under exaggerating the capability of humans in general I'm not a professional cyclist and I'm not 5 professional cyclists I tried to see what 250 watts was and it felt like pedaling at a slight pace just applying slight pressure

I'm 77 with bad knees and cannot walk far or use a bicycle, but ebikes have enabled me to explore my local Boulder county. CO bike paths. I think the greenies on hard core bicycles that were pushing for EVs are regretting the evolution of ebikes as the numbers of ebike riders keep growing in our town. Bicyclists go faster on the trails than the bikers. There are issues with adolescent teens riding in packs going to and from schools with multiple kids on one bike. No helmets. I'm having fun.

Major word of advice when you are getting the motor goat V3 or the power goat V2 or even the billy goat make sure that you go and check every single bolt 100% and tighten all of them and I would also suggest getting some blue Loctite and putting it on all of the threads and then tightening them down solid because even the kickstand bolts aren't tied and you don't want to be riding a bike with loose bolts and those are turn signals that are flexible and it has turn signals on the front and the back

You also have the security bar that goes through that hole right there underneath the rear part of the seat that goes through the whole of the back tire and locks in place so no one can roll your bike away

The bikes are over a hundred pounds around 1:10 depending on if you have a single battery or dual batteries also you can change the strength of the brake stoppage from off to weak to strong and you will notice a big difference when you put it on strong by holding down the plus and negative for more than 2 seconds

It is not 0 through 3. Hold down the plus and the minus at the same time and you will go into settings then you can go into start Speed and you can set that all the way up to five and then you can go down to max speed and set that all the way up to nine and then go to the miles per hour and set it at 100% And then you won't go from 0 to 3:00 you'll go from zero all the way to 9 and hold on to your pants cuz you will shit yourself when you launch off at that speed in fact it's so fast you might wreck, so I would say start off at 3:00 and then hit the plus and keep going up until you hit nine and then you'll be at Max Speed but you definitely don't have the settings all the way up yet

That seat is 3 ft long I cut off the first foot and sold it up and it looks fantastic and now I have about a foot and a half of open space in front for storage it's just too long and my motor goat I have for me for when I just want to see single ride but even after taking a foot off of the power goat V2 3 ft long seat I can still have somebody ride with me or even my 3 and 1/2 year old granddaughter who absolutely loves going for rides on both of the bikes

If you hold the plus and negative button for more than 2 seconds you'll go into the settings, then go and hit everything to the Max and then you'll get those top speeds you're only going up to 3:00 when it goes all the way to 9:00 and its 3,000 watt at that number but you don't have the settings set correct

It has 110 Newton of torque it's all on the website so it's already listed and you can just go there and get the stats

All the way to 9 and if you set all the settings to maximum and the miles per hour to 100% you will hit 50 mph no problem

I use the SOP dyno. Seat of the Pants. If I can stop on a very steep hill and take off and accelerate up the hill my watts and torque are good. I do not pedal as I am 81 and my knees complain if I pedal very much. I put a cyclone system on and down tuned it because it would tear up all bicycle drive components. I geared it to be about 30 mph which is all the speed I would ever want for riding a bike. Rake and trail are not motorcycle type. That cyclone lasted me six years of trail and beach riding along with short trips to town and back. Even was my only transportation for a month when my truck was being worked on. It quit working and I have now installed a NB Power 3000 watt kit. I am tuning it now to be rational because as it comes it is insane.

"OK, I wasn't sure" (what a STOP sign means). I ride e-bike a Lot, am approaching 20K miles since 2020 and I didn't start using a Riding App for most of that first riding season. It took me about a year and a half to finally address the idiots in cars who don't believe that Bicycles should be allowed on the roads. At least a few times ea riding season some Idiot in a car will intentionally charge at me or cut me off in a very risky manner just to scare me. They're using a 6,000 Lb vehicle as a tool to run 300 lbs worth of E-bike and rider off the road. I've been run completely off road and crashed into trees and bushes by these Idiots who Hate bicycle's. About 80% of my riding is on improved Biking/Hiking trails and the roads I do ride on are all marked for Bikes or have signage stating that Bicycles may use the Full Road. On the few streets marked for full use by bicycles, I always stay to the right anyways. So, I've taken measures to deal with this madness. I use Two Cameras, one mounted on top of my helmet facing forwards and one mounted facing aft on a shoulder strap adaptor for my hydration pack. The Camera on top of the helmet sticks out like a sore thumb and has stopped about 95% of the stupid and dangerous behavior by those in cars from having a go at me. What has proven very effective though is the rear facing camera. Most don't spot it because they're focused on the obvious forward-facing Cam and that works to Great advantage. People do strange things when behind you whether they've just passed you or are coming at you from the rear. Both of these Cams were made for Motorcycle Racing like Isle of Mann or Laguna Seca. They are streamlined, can be paired to follow the commands of a single cam, have image stabilization and shoot in 4K resolution. They do other tricks as well but I only use the Video function for picking up license plates. I've turned in vids to the local authorities showing people throwing cans or garbage at me from the rear who didn't know they were on camera. The Cops issued a littering fine in one case. The other thing that really made a huge difference was mounting a Rear View Mirror to my Helmet. I can instantly look in any direction behind me without having to hope a handlebar mounted mirror is already aligned w/ what I'm trying to see. A Helmet only works After an accident has happened while a Mirror can prevent them and works all the time.
